Starts Tuesday 6th February, 2024 until 12th March, 2024. Also known by some clubs as “Barefoot Bowls” or “Twilight Bowls”.
Night Owls Bowls is a great introduction to the sport of bowls for first timers and for those looking for family orientated and friendly entertainment.
Night Owls is played on TUESDAY evenings with matches starting at 7.00pm sharp and finishing around 9.30pm.
- Low cost snacks from 5.30pm.
- Cost is $8.00 per player and $5.00 for students.
- Free light supper.
- The Bar is open with all drinks very reasonably priced.
The format is four-person teams. (Make up your own with family, friends or work colleagues or enter your name for placement in a team.) Only 1 pennant player per team (mid-week, Friday or Saturday pennants). Note the pennant player must not be 'Skipper'.
Weekly prizes are awarded to the winners along with lucky draws and the popular meat tray raffle.
Casual clothing and flat sole shoes or sneakers is the norm. (no heels)
All equipment is provided. The Club has a range of bowls sizes and types.
Tips and coaching is provided at no extra cost.
Eftpos facilities are available however, there is no cash-out.
